Our Partners

We choose our partners carefully at Keaton's Kids. We're blown away by the passion and drive these organizations bring to getting underserved kids outside and into nature. By sponsoring youth through these partners, we support not just the kids, but the hardworking organizations themselves. Keaton would be jazzed about every one of these!

CatRock Ventures

Our partnership with CatRock Ventures is at the heart of what we do. CatRock is a Bronx-based nonprofit working to reach, inspire, and empower the next generation of environmental, community, and business leaders from underserved communities. What began as helping launch their Cycling Academy has grown into a year-round collaboration.

The centerpiece is CatRock's annual Jay Peak Leadership Academy in Vermont. During an April week of outdoor adventure, students ski, snowboard, hike, and snowshoe while learning about conservation and sustainability and putting their leadership skills to the test—culminating in a summit hike the students plan themselves. Keaton's Kids provides transportation to the mountain for all 75 kids, so every one of them can be there.

Each winter, we team up with the SHRED Foundation to get kids on the slopes at Windham Mountain—for many, their very first time on a snowboard. Keaton's Kids provides the buses and operational support that make these trips possible, removing the transportation and logistics barriers that so often keep kids from the mountain. That mix of nerves and pure joy as they catch their balance and ride down for the first time never gets old.

Keep It Moving is our cherished partner for the Great Skate Giveaway in Newburgh. Founded by Lauren Mandel, Keep It Moving is an opioid-prevention program created to honor her son Zane—an avid skateboarder and social work graduate—with a mission of providing life-affirming activities for kids. Zane was always at home in nature—snowboarding, biking, skateboarding, camping, or simply being—and he looked out for the little guy and the underdog. That spirit lives on every time we put a board into a kid's hands.

CatRock's boardsports work is powered by the Chill Foundation, the youth-development program founded by Burton Snowboards. Chill uses boardsports to empower young people in their quest for resilience, confidence, and a better understanding of themselves, providing everything kids need—from transportation to gear to lessons—at no cost. Through CatRock, we also support the Cycling Academy and skateboarding, teaching kids to ride, lead, maintain their own bikes, and design their own boards.

New Era Creative Space (NECS) is a Peekskill-based organization we've partnered with on programming that gets local kids outdoors and creating. Our work together has taken two forms.  Through Keaton's Kids & NECS's collaborative Nature Connections Camp, we've offered swim lessons, water safety, and time exploring nature—giving kids skills and confidence that last a lifetime. We also supported an extension of NECS's programming: a free skateboarding program for kids from Peekskill's Dunbar housing community, coordinated with 2nd Nature Skatepark, Peekskill's skater-owned indoor park. Kids built and decorated their own skateboards and learned to ride—all completely free—and were fed with fresh, rescued meals from Second Chance Foods in Brewster, a food-rescue nonprofit working to end hunger and food waste across the Hudson Valley.

Keaton’s Kids is proud to partner with The Felix Organization, a nonprofit dedicated to providing inspiring opportunities and new experiences for children growing up in foster care.

In June 2026, youth participated in an educational sailing excursion aboard the historic Hudson River sloop Clearwater, exploring the river’s history and ecosystem through hands-on learning.

Together, Keaton’s Kids and The Felix Organization will continue creating meaningful outdoor experiences that build confidence, connection and curiosity.
